I would like to put an RC network across the relay coil to reduce relay noise, is there any formula to calculate the value of Resistance, Capacitance and their current and voltage values?
Where can I find some information on how to link the Profibus I/O area to the Siemens PLC? In other words, how do I setup and connect the different variables of the controller to the PLC? How do the parameters match the I/O area on the Profibus-DP level? Measured value 1 = address ????? Where can I find a complete list of possible parameters to read and write to the device?
I have two HI 1756WS modules installed in a remote rack connected through ControlNet to the processor. What do I need to do to communicate and configure the modules? Do I need an EDS file for the module for the ControlNet RSNetworks?
I am unable to enter setpoints from my HI 3010 web browser. I can enter them from the front panel and they show up on the configuration web page, although not in real time. The page must be refreshed for the new values to be displayed. How can I enter the setpoints from the web browser?
I am trying to control a remote display using a HI 2151/30WC and I cannot get it to communicate properly. I have the serial port configured as follows:
Sercon: Print
Sertyp: RS-232
Baud: 9600
Frame: 8-N-1
Format: G-----
I have matched these up with the remote display and have wired it as follows:
Hardy Txd ------ RLWS Rxd
Hardy Gnd ------ RLWS Gnd
What am I doing wrong?
One of my systems utilizes two HI 1746WS modules in a local rack with a 1747-SCNR ControlNet scanner communicating to a remote rack. A different system is using a 1747-SN to Block transfer Analog via MO and MI. Both the HI 1746WS and either coms module would need to utilize MO and MI file of the Local racks memory. Would there be a conflict?
