Click Here to Learn More! The information on the setup of the Profibus network is found in the Series 3000 Operation & Installation Manual under the section for Networks. You can find the Series 3000 manuals online at hardysolutions.com. From the Hardy home page, click on Products tab and select the product you are looking for. Once on the product page for the instrument, go to Docs and Programs tab and find the manuals for download.
Once the network is set up and communications is established, the unit would need to have data "Mapped" into the Profibus table before it can be received in the PLC. Mapping is covered in the HI 3000 Installation & Service Manual under the section for Mapping.
There are no pre-defined blocks of data for the HI 3000 series units. All communications to and from the unit would be defined by the user in the mapping to and from the communications table being used. The mapping pages accessed through the browser of the unit has the parameters for mapping in pull down menus for your selections. If you would like to map any parameters not found in the pull down menus, you would need to use the Command Mapping (defined in the 3030 Installation & Service Manual) and a list of the parameter ID numbers can be found through the browser by going to the link for "Operation>Diagnostics>Parameters" when online with the unit.
You may also find severl other answers pertaining to mapping in the 3000 or 4000 series units. Mapping works the same way in both types of units, though some of the terms used differ.
