My HI 4050 weight reading is stable until I installed the Remote I/O option. After installing the option I am seeing weight fluctuations around 3 in 10,000. Why would the RIO option affect the weight reading stability?
Using DeviceNet, I need to read the float value of the net weight so I can get down to a tenth of a pound (hundredths would be nice too.) When I map HFI4 to DFO0, I get 1112041062. But if I map HFI4 to DIO0, I get 50 (the weight of the weight I'm using.) How do I read the float value and get 50.10 like the Hardy screen says?
Can I use HI 3030 on a two load cells system with two Kistler Morse, C1-1-03K-X-015-P-UA1 load cells? We had the load cell installed on the tank long time ago, and we want to replace the Kistler Morse controller with the more advanced HI 3030 without replacing the load cells.
I am using a HI215IT-PS1 summing box, 3 Hardy load cells and a Hardy weight controller or PLC module. We are also using C2 cable between summing box and Hardy Instrument, and we are hearing a very loud clicking noise at the summing box. What can be causing this?
