Can I set up mapping to create a timer in my unit?

Yes, you can create a timer in mapping of the HI 3000 or HI 4000 series units..  This is a logic excersize, but to make it easier, we have created one to give you an idea of how to do this and attached to this answer.

The logic involved is the same regardless of which of the HI 3000 or HI 4000 units you are using. The only difference between the update times of the 3000 units (55 updates/sec) and the 4000 units (110 updates/sec).
