The Hardy line of weight transmitters range from low-cost, loop powered, two-wire analog to 420mA digital weight processors. They are used primarily in level by weight and force measurement applications connected to a DCS, PLC/PAC or PC for system control. Weight transmitters can be connected to load cells, industrial floor and platform scales or bench scales to provide an accurate weighing system.
Hardy's HI 200DNWM is the first general purpose weigh module designed specifically to the DeviceNet open network standard, and the first to pass conformance testing at one of ODVA's independent laboratories. This instrument provides power for up to four, 350 ohm, standard strain gauge load cells, load sensors, and load points.
The Hardy HI 2204LT transmitter comes sealed and potted to withstand typical industrial environments. It has a course zero offset adjustment to remove dead load, a fine zero adjustment to compensate for small differences between load cells/ points, and a span adjustment to set the operating range for the “live load.”
The Hardy HI 6200 series includes high-performance single-channel Weight Processors (featuring EtherNet/IP or PROFINET) or Weight Transmitters featuring 4-20mA Analog communications.
