Why can't I connect my HI 3000 unit to the DeviceNet Network?

We are having problems connecting our HI 3000 series controller (either an HI 3030, HI 3010, HI 3300 or HI 3600) to the DeviceNet network. Any suggestions?

What are the status bit definitions for the HI 1746WS, HI 1769WS and the HI 1756WS?

What are the status bit definitions for the HI 1746WS, HI 1769WS and the HI 1756WS?

Can my HI 1746WS work in a remote rack to a PLC5 over RIO?

Can my HI 1746WS module work in a remote SLC (1746Ax) RIO rack driven by PLC 5 processor? Which application software should I use (for SLC 500 or for PLC5)?

What is the temperature range for the HI 2151/30WC?

Radiant heat from the sun seems to be causing the output of our HI 2151/30WC to fluctuate. This problem can be seen on our calculated flow. The flow is calculated using old data, fifteen minutes prior, minus current data multiplied by four to bring it to an hourly rate, then multiplied by one thousand to display in klbs/hr. The fluctuation is not as readily seen on the 4-20mA signal, but is definitely noticeable on the calculated flow. Does the HI 2151/30WC controllers have any history of heating problems in the electronics? We might install a heat shield to shade the instrument with a two inch air gap and increase the air flow if this will help?

Can I copy the parameters in my HI 3000 or HI 4000 series controllers?

How can I download all of the parameters in the HI 3000 series or HI 4000 series units so I have them if I need to set-up a replacement? Are there any parameters that do not get downloaded and need to be manually recorded? Do I need a specific software?

Why can't I communicate with the Ethernet I/P option on a HI 3000 series controller?

I have a HI 3000 series unit with the Ethernet I/P option installed. I have set up and can ping the address with good results. RS Linx also sees the unit on the network. But my Compact Logix processor shows a communications error and cannot get my unit online. What could be the problem?

Why are we getting an A/D error after we replace our old controller?

We are replacing our obsolete weight controller with a new Hardy controller and want to reuse the same load cells. Our traditional calibration methods are giving us problems when we try to set the span. I think it's because our old unit has 10 volts excitation and the Hardy unit has 5 volts excitation. When we run the mV calibration signal above 15, we get an A/D Conversion Error on our Hardy unit. Do we need to take our old calibration values and divide by 2?

Do you need to re-calibrate the HI 1756WS when you cycle power?

Can I replace the cable on my load cell?

Someone pulled the cable out of our Hardy load cell and I would like to re-connect it myself. Can you send me directions on how to replace the cable? I read the manual and performed the resistance measurements, but the results are outside the maximum tolerances. Can I repair this load cell or do I have to replace it?
