What is the difference between discharge, auto discharge and OK to discharge?

The discharge, auto discharge and OK to discharge parameters on the HI 3010 are confusing. When would I use one discharge type over another discharge?

What is the difference between zero tolerance and auto zero tolerance parameters on the HI 3010?

What is the difference between the zero tolerance and auto zero tolerance parameters on the HI 3010?

Can I control I/O over DeviceNet on my HI 3000 series unit?

Can I control I/O over DeviceNet on my HI 3000 series controller (HI 3010, HI 3030, HI 3300 or HI 3600)? For example: I have a master controller which would be the weight controller, but I need to add I/O and a drive. Can I do that? What programming language do you use to control the logic of the operation? How are your parameters sent over Ethernet and can I capture net and tare weight via Ethernet or DeviceNet?

How many words does a DeviceNet slave use?

How many words does a HI 3000 DeviceNet slave use in the data table when configured as a slave and mapped as one more device controlled by a DeviceNet scanner in a PLC?

Where do I get 5 volts to keep CTS high in a HI 2151/30WC?

We are using a HI 2151/30WC with the B12 Profibus option. We have implemented serial communications (RS-232) from the Hardy to a third party display (wiring just the TXD and GND signals). We configured the Hardy for continuous print of Gross weight. In order to initiate communications we were told we have to apply a positive voltage to the CTS in the Hardy. We tested this using a 9 V battery and the communications worked. Is there somewhere on the Hardy unit that we could pick up this voltage to keep CTS high (as opposed to using an external source)?

What is the max I/O that can I use over DeviceNet on my Hardy controller?

What is the maximum I/O that can I use in my HI 3000 or HI 4000 series over DeviceNet?  The system needs to control 4 scales and the total I/O for the four scales is 75 Outputs, 30 Inputs.

How are the HI 3010 output control functions activated?

How are the HI 3010 output control functions activated? What voltages, and between what points?

What is the response time of a HI 3000 series controller?

If I am using a 4 channel HI 3030 weight controller for a check weighing application, how long does the item being weighed need to be on the scale in order to get a good weight reading ?

What information can I access (read/write) through the DeviceNet on a 3000 or 4000 series unit?

What information can I access (read/write) through the DeviceNet network in my HI 3010, HI 3030, HI 3300, HI 3600, HI 4050 or my HI 4060?

What are the power requirements for the HI 3000 series?

What are the power requirements for the HI 3010,  or the HI 3030?
