Can I use NON C2® or NON IT Load Cells with Hardy Summing Boards or Junction Boxes?

I have an HI 215IT Hardy junction box with a label which reads: "CAUTION: USE ONLY WITH PRODUCTS HAVING IT CAPABILITIES". I've tried to connect different manufacturer load cells using this junction box, but I didn't read any values from the load cells. The load cells I have only have 4 wires, so they do not have C2 nor Integrated Technician (IT) capabilities. Can I use NON IT / NON C2 load cells with this junction box? I've read that Hardy controllers can work with and without C2 / IT load cells. Do I need a different junction box?

Why are my HI 1771WS status indicators flashing red after doing a C2® calibration?

When I try to do a C2® calibration my HI 1771WS module goes into calibration mode and sits there forever. The status lights Cal/Com on the module are flashing red and my block transfers are OK. I swapped the existing module with a spare and still no luck. Why are the status indicators flashing red after doing a C2® calibration?

How should I convert Lb's to Kg's with C2® and non-C2® load cells?

We have a large number of HI 2151/30WC's units, some with C2® load cells and some with older standard load cells. I know we can use the Lbs/Kg's button on the front of the controller to toggle between Lbs and Kg's on the readout of our Hardy controller, but this will not change the units being read into our PLC. I see my options are to re-calibrate all scales in Kg's (my concerns are older standard load cells are rated in Lbs and it will be time consuming to convert approximately 30 scales in one weekend of downtime). The second option I see is leaving the calibration in Lbs and try to do a Lbs to KG conversion in our PLC code (my concerns are trying to get the KG readout on the HI 2151's to match the PLC calculation). Is their any other possible solutions that would be easier to have the HI 2151 return Kg's to the PLC without re-calibrating the scales?

Why does my HI 1756WS get a -8 error when using the HI 215IT junction box?

I am using a HI 1756WS with a HI 215IT junction box and 2 Load Cells. When I try to do a hard calibration an error is shown (-8 = "HARCALFAILSCOUNTS"). If I connect the load cell to the HI 1756WS directly (bypassing the junction box) it works with no error. Why does my HI 1756WS get a -8 error when using the HI 215IT junction box?
