What does the Scale Capacity (SC CAP) parameter mean on the HI 2151/30WC? Does the number entered represent the amount of material to be weighed, or the gross of all the weight on the load cells, ie, hopper assembly, material, etc?
If I exceed the scale capacity will I get a --HI-- indication on my display?
We purchased a HI 2151/30WC without any options. Can I order a option board and install it myself, or do I have to send the unit in? If I send it in, what steps do I need to take to make this happen?
Can I configure my HI 3010 Ethernet output to track the amount of each batch and the corresponding time of day? Is this done using command mapping or another feature?
How does the HI 3030 Command Status Word work? Do I map it to an Int or a short Int?
I want to receive a notification that the scale has received a tare command from my program. Does the Command Status Word increment or change to acknowledge the remote tare command?
I would like to be able to do a very rough calibration on my HI 2160RC without emptying the hopper on the load cell. This is useful in several instances, such as when an instrument is replaced and the hopper is full. We need a very rough calibration to allow us to avoid our interlocks and run enough to get empty and do a real calibration. I seem to remember a way to put "fake" zero and span counts, but I can't find anything in the manual.
Can I get a procedure for direct entering calibration values in my HI 2160RC?
On my weight controller, the gross weight is changing from 185 to 195, and then to 205 and back to 194 when the vessel is empty. When I place a 130 kg test weight on the scale it shows a reading of 124 kg. How do I calibrate my scale so I get accurate readings with and without a test weight?
