We have installed a 4-20ma loop to a SLC500 from an analog option card. After completing the calibration the loop gives a reading that is oscillating by +/-30kg when reading a weight of 90kg, but the HI 2151/30WC display is stable. We added some filtering on the PLC input but are wondering why the 4-20ma analog output signal is so unstable?
What is included with the different display options for the HI 2151/30WC or the HI 2110WI? Is the Display/Blind Remote (0535-0461-02) obsolete and how can I recover?
When I try to enter the calibration menu on my HI 2110WI or HI 2151/30WC it displays "Sec CD". I toggle the external switch "Cal" and nothing happens. This problem only happens when I have the secure module memory inserted in the rear of the controller. When the memory module is removed I can enter the calibration. Apparently the controller isn't seeing the configuration of the dip switch because when I review the "self test" the Dip 1 shows "0" no matter the position of the dip switch.
I have an HI 2151/30WC and an old obsolete HI 2151/20WC. Does "scale capacity" set the upper range of what will be sent to my DCS system (Fisher Provox). The signal gets to the DCS system thru an "EIC" card, we do not use the analog output.
