Why does my HI 2151/30WC have a blank display?

If your HI 2110WI or HI 2151/30WC has a blank display, here are a few items to check.

1. Does the unit have power applied? Check AC input connector for power.

2. If you have communications to the weight controller, is it still communicating? If so, the front display card or internal voltage may be faulted. The HI 2151/30WC weight controller's display is powered via its own 5 volt regulator. This regulator could be faulty and still maintain communications and proper weight readings.

3. A blank display might be caused by a voltage spike. Cycle power and verify if the front display returns. Verify power connections and ensure the ground to neutral reading is less than 1.0 VAC.

4. If the problem persist, or the display remains dark when power is cycled, contact Hardy Technical support for a review or return authorization number. The unit may need to be repaired.
