What is a force refill on the Hardy Rate controller?

What is a force refill on my Hardy Process Solutions rate controllers?
 

There are several Rate controller, HI2160RCplus+ and the new HI 4060, HI1756FC and HI1769FC. 

The Force Refill allows a user to refill the feeder hopper to the "Stop (HI)" refill parameter level. To force a refill, momentarily short (100 mSec minimum) the refill Pin to Gnd (TTL ground). During the refill a message appears on the display and returns to the previous display when the refill is complete. The "Stop HI" product level must be achieved to exit the force refill condition. If you are short of that goal, press the force refill input again to complete the refill rotine. 

Adding product to the hopper without using force refill will create an error in the Batch and Totalizer amounts. If you have a automatic refill system installed, and active force refill, that system will activate.

If you trigger the force-refill and the material level in the hopper is higher than the stop high level the controller will not go into the refill condition and if material is added at that point the totalizer amounts will be incorrect.  The HI 2160RC subtracts any weight added while running and not in refill conditions.  The HI4060, HI1756FC and the HI1769FC will stop totalizing until that amount added has been fed and then the totalizer will resume totalizing material.
