New HIDS Drum Scales!
Click Here to Learn More!Pressing the ZERO key on your HI 2110WI, HI 2151/30WC or your HI 2151/20WC should either:
1. zero the gross weight, during normal operation and within the zero tolerance.
2. display error 6 if the zero tolerance parameter is exceeded.
3. exit up one menu level without making changes, if you are in a setup menu.
4. Do nothing if the 'LOCK' switch on the back of the instrument is turned on.
NOTE: To clear the error 6 you will need to correct the condition that is causing the weight to be outside the level of the zero tolerance. This may mean clean your tank to remove the accumulated build-up, recal if the dead load on your scale has changed, or increase zero tolerance.
If the 'LOCK' switch is turned on, it disables the ZERO, TARE, MODE, and LB/KG keys.
Pressing the test/clear button:
1. enters into diagnostics self test routines when in normal operational mode.
2. clears numeric entries in the setup menus.
3. can insert a minus(-) in the setup menus when pressed twice.
This key can not be locked or disabled under program or dip switch control.
If nothing happens when you press the ZERO button, the keyboard function maybe locked. Verify the Dip switch SW 3-6 (LOCK) on the back plate is in the off position. If the keyboard is not locked and the ZERO or test key do not respond the keypad or interface card may be defective.
If you still have a problem with your keypad you will need to replace it. You can send it in to Hardy Process Solutions for repair, or read the attached Tech Note and do it yourself.
If you need to send a unit in for repair, please request and RMA# prior to sending the unit in. You can request an RMA# on our web site, hardysolutions.com and go to the Support Center tab and Repair Forms.
