Why does my HI 3010 get an A/D Conversion error when doing a C2® calibration?

Last updated 01/14/2015 11:13 AM

Question

Why do I get a A to D Conversion error when I try to do a C2® calibration on my HI 3010?

Answer

One possible reason you are getting an A to D conversion error on your HI 3010 when doing a C2® calibration would be if you have a HI 3010 with the Smart Diagnostics option and do not have a load cell plugged into all active channels. To correct the problem go into Set-up>Options>Smart Diagnostics and turn off all unused channels.

Other likely causes may be any load cell that is missing, out of tolerance (0-15mv is the acceptable range), or a bad input port.
Check the controller and load cell troubleshooting guides.
