Click Here to Learn More! There are three main reasons for loosing calibration after a power cycle on a HI 2110WI or HI 2151/30WC.
This TGERR message can be missed at power up as it is only on the display for about 3-6 sec at the time power is applied. You can simulate this error by removing the SMM and powering up your HI 2110WI or HI 2151/30WC without it.
1. The SMM could possibly be bad. Replacement SMMs are part number 0519-0512-06. Contact Hardy Process Solutions sales for pricing.
2. The second reason for a unit loosing calibration would be if the unit has a hardware problem or corruption that prevents it from writing to the SMM. This would cause the module to not save the data, so it would boot up with previous data from the SMM. If the unit loses memory after a power cycle and neither the above conditions apply, then the unit would need to be returned to the factory for evaluation/repair.
3. The internal dip switch package S2-8 is in the ON position. You can verify that setting running Self-Test and observing DIP2 should be = 0
