Click Here to Learn More!Auto fast adjust and auto pre act interact with the fast and slow feed targets respectively. With these two auto adjusts on, the fast fill will adjust to the point that the slow fill will only energize for a very short amount of time or not be required.
With consistent feeders, both auto adjusts can help optimize your throughput.
With inconsistent feeders the auto adjust routines can cause inconsistent results. You may want to let the fast auto adjust set an acceptable pre act number. Then use that number as a fast weight entry with auto fast adjust off. Let the slow feed smart pre act make any minor corrections.
When you are running simultaneous feeders, note if the slow feed auto pre act setting is larger than the auto fast adjust setting. Again you may want to set the auto fast adjust weight to a manual number and let the slow feed make the minor target pre act adjustments.
Adjust these to have the shortest possible slow feed rate but never allow an overfill with the fast feed rate.
