What is the difference in the 3 mapping areas where motion status can be read?

What is the difference in the three mapping areas where the HI 3030 4-scale motion status can be read, Status word bit 6, Command status, and the Boolean words HI2.12-HI2.15 for each scale?

In the HI 3030 4 scale units, the 3 mapping areas where motion status can be read are:

Status word bit 6 motion is an overall instrument motion indication.  If any channel is in motion, this bit will be set.

The status bits under the HI2.12 through 2.15 are for the individual channels and are actively showing status of the four scales continuously.

The Command status words have unique status words for each scale and show status of a command like calibration and sets the MSB to signify the command is active and the status data is active. If you try to do a calibration and the scale is in motion the status word in the command interface will lock that status condition until the command is removed. When the command is removed then all the status bit return to zero.  This Command status indication of motion is actually an indication of why the command failed.
