Click Here to Learn More!Hardy has the HI 215IT, HI 215JB, HI6020IT, and HI6020JB summing junction cards. The primary difference is that in the HI 215IT junction box the PCB is populated with electronic components allowing the controller to poll individual load cells. The IT summing board will fit in the HI 215JB junction box and has the same mounting hole locations. The HI 215JB has no components on the PCB.
The Hardy HI 215IT card is being replaced by the HI 6020IT summing boards with relays for testing individual load sensors.
The HI 6020IT is the Performance line and is the same physical size as the HI 215IT and is its replacement with Integrated Technician.
The Hardy HI 215JB is replaced by the HI 6020JB summing board offering and do not offer individual replays and diagnostic capabilities.
The HI 6020JB is the Performance line board and is the same physical size as the HI 215JB and is its replacement without Integrated Technician capabilities.
If you have an IT summing box you must connect the C2+ and C2- wires between the controller and junction box to provide power to the PCB components, whether you have C2 load cells or not. If you do not connect the C2 wires then the relay's on the IT circuit board do not get the proper voltage and you may get relay chatter or a constant output that will cause your weight reading to fluctuate or remain steady even when you add or remove weight.
We strongly recommend using Hardy C2® certified cable for the connection between your junction box and controller as it is specifically designed for the low voltage signals utilized in process weighing systems.
