New HIDS Drum Scales!
Click Here to Learn More!On the HI 1746WS, HI 1756WS, HI 1756-2WS, HI 1756-FC, HI 1769WS, HI 1769-2WS, HI 1769-FC, HI 1771WS and the HI 200DNWM you do not need to perform a new calibration as long as the calibration was saved to non-volatile memory. The calibration is saved in the module, so moving it to a new location will not alter the calibration.
However, if you change the scale you have connected to the module, then a new calibration would need to be performed.
NOTE: If you are using the AOP for the HI 1769-xx module, then if you change the location of the module, the AOP files will not move with the module. You would need to duplicate the AOP settings in the new location.
Keep in mind, the unit has memory storing the calibration. The AOP is a location for the Processor to store values for the PLC. If you move the module, the module memory always goes with it. The AOP values would need to be altered to have them follow the module. If you do not move the AOP and you download from the processor to the module, it would overwrite the memory in the module and you would lose your calibration.
