Question

If a weight less than zero is registered what will be displayed on my HI 2151/30WC or HI 2110WI?

Answer

The HI 2151/30WC and HI 2110WI units will display a minus sign on the left hand side of the display to indicate the weight is a negative value. The weight controllers will display a weight change as long as the millivolt reading is positive.  The HI 2151/30WC and HI 2110WI do not process negative millivolt readings lower than -0.5mV for weight signal input.

On the newer HI 2151/30WC controllers the word LOW is displayed when the -0.5mV range is exceeded.  Locking on a particular negative weight did not convey the weight was now out of range in a negative value.  This LOW display is seen when the load cell is damaged or they are lifting up on a load cell.
