The HardyNet in the HI 6600 series units is an RS 485 communictions between the Gateway module and the Weigh Processor Modules (WPM). The termination works in a normal manner for any serial network.
You should turn on the termination on the physical end modules. This should be the Gateway module on one end and the last WPM on the other end of the network. All WPM modules between these two should hae the termination turned off.
