New HIDS Drum Scales!
Click Here to Learn More! The older Allen-Bradley modules used the A-B RT44 terminal board and the new Hardy HI 1771WS modules use the 1771-RT board. Each version uses a different cable and you MUST use the correct cable.
The A-B RT44 terminal board and its mating cable would need to be ordered from Allen Bradley. Wiring diagrams for the wiring of the A-B RT44 terminal board would be found in A-B user manual for the 1771-WS, Publication 1771-6.5.117.
The 1771-RT terminal board and mating cable (either 6 or 10 foot length) can be ordered through Hardy. Wiring diagrams for the 1771-RT terminal board are found in the Hardy HI 1771-WS Operation and Installation Manual. This can be downloaded at hardysolutions.com. From the 1771 page, click on DOC & PROGRAMS and download the manual.
Either board will work with either module as long as you have the correct cable, and both boards will support the C2® technology.
The Rockwell cable is a 37 pin to 25 pin cable and will only work with the Rockwell RT44 terminal card. The Hardy Instruments 1771-xx-RT terminal cable is a 37 pin to 37 pin connector and will only work with the Hardy 1771 RT card.
