How many load cells can I use with my HI 3030 or HI 3010?

The HI 3010 or HI 3030 single channel weight controllers will read and store calibration information for up to eight C2® load sensors and power up to eight 1000 ohm load cells, or four 350 ohm load cells.

A HI 3030-2S (2 channel) will power sixteen 1000 ohm load cells (max 8 per channel), or eight 350 ohm load cells. (max 4 per channel)

A HI 3030-4S (4 channel) will power thirty-two 1000 ohm load cells (max 8 per channel), or sixteen 350 ohm load cells (max 4 per channel), (16 load cells is the maximum current draw with the internal power supply). Additional load cells can be added, but will require an external 5vdc power supply.
