How do I tare my HI 2110WI or HI 2151/30WC with the Profibus interface?

To run the tare function on the HI 2110WI, HI 2151/30WC and the older HI 2151/20WC using the Profibus interface you would need to do a block write #70 (hex 46) with bit number 8 turned on. So your one word command would be a value of 326 (hex 146). This should cause the unit to tare the net weight as long as the unit is not in motion.

NOTE:  If the tare command has been sent before, you would need to send the #70 command again with bit #8 turned off to clear the bit. If you do not turn this bit off, then the unit will not recognize the change from 0 to 1 it needs to trigger the command the next time.
