How do I erase old mapping in the HI 4000 or 3000 series units?

We are reusing the controller in a new app and I would like to erase or delete the current mapping.

Using the Web page access.  Access Configuration and mapping menu.  All the current mapping is display below the mapping box area.  Highlight the equations or sections you wish to delete (unmap) copy and paste these into the mapping box.  Click the unmap button next to the mapping box and the old mapping is removed.
This action is automatically saved in the non volatile memory.
