Answer
The steps to change your HI 3010 application type are:
1) press "SETUP"
2) arrow down to "SETUP" menu selection
3) press "ENTER"
4) arrow down to "Application Type"
5) press "ENTER"
6) select application type you desire.
Parameters are saved from the previous configuration. Calibration and overall configuration and mapping information is the same. Some parameters that are particular to the application type may need to be adjusted.
Another way you can change the selection would be to clear the memory of the unit. This will bring it up with no application type selected and will ask you at that time what type you want the unit to be. To clear the memory, you would need to enter in as a user with the highest security code. If the codes have not been changed, the default high security code is 1234.
To clear memory:
1) press "USER" button
2) press "ENTER" (user name is not needed)
3) enter the high security code
4) press "ENTER". Unit will display security level allowed at this time.
5) If you are at "HI" level, press "EXIT" button three times to get back to main screen. If not at "HI" level, you would need to check with administrator to get the high security code.
6) Once at high security level, press "TEST" button
7) arrow down to "Diagnostics" and press "ENTER"
8) arrow down to "Factory Defaults" and press "ENTER"
9) press "ENTER" at the "Are You Sure" message.
The unit will reset and when it is done, it will ask for an application type to be selected.
NOTE: If the memory is cleared, it will clear all programming that was done to the unit. You would need to set up the unit again, including the IP address of the unit.
Changing back and forth as required could be handled with different ingredients for dispensing, IBC and filler applications. There is a limit of 12 ingredient menus stored.
The setting and mapping selections can be saved by entering the Diagnostic section using the Ethernet TCP port and copying the R/W parameters list to a notepad file. Then restore the configuration by pasting the correct data into the same parameters page. To insure the mapping is complete you may want to enter the Ethernet TCP/IP web browser mapping page. Copy and paste the mapping equations into the mapping box on the second page and click on MAP. This will make the proper connections to insure the mapping is correctly installed.
