The serial port print layout, in the HI 3010, is hard code programmed for a serial printer only. This communications path does not support bi-directional data transfer, commands, or remote configuration capabilities. The output format is fixed and cannot be reformatted. If the output format is not correct for your application, the serial string can be sent to a PC Serial port and the end user's programmer may reformat and develop a report.
