Do I need an IT Junction Box to use smart diagnostics with a HI 3010 controller?

You cannot use the HI 215IT Junction Box on an HI 3010 controller.

The HI 3010 Smart Diagnostics displays information on the individual load cells if you use the smart diagnostic card. The Smart Diagnostics card is installed inside of the HI 3010 controller. The individual load sensors must terminate directly to the back of the HI 3010.

Using the standard Load cell input, single input option, the smart diagnostic information is displayed as a single reading of all load cells. If you have a single load point on the HI 3010 then you do not need to order the SD option. The Smart Diagnostic option card allows you to see the individual load cell measurements.

This is the same theory of operation for all the Hardy Process Solutions Integrated Technician capable products. The HI 3010 is the only Hardy Process Solutions controller using only Smart Diagnostics.
