Do I have to re-select an ingredient after each change?

If I make a change in the Ingredient setup menu on my HI 3010, do I have to select that ingredient from the front panel using the number 1/ingr. key?

The changes you made under the ingredient menu will not be active until you select that ingredient from the front keypad. This action tells the instrument to make current an ingredient using the latest changes.

If you make the change to the Active Ingredient, it will be active in the current runs, but will not be saved to the saved ingredients.

That means if you do not save the changes to the configuration and then re-select that ingredient you will still be using the original settings.
