Can I ZERO or TARE remotely if I have the BCD option board?

Can I ZERO or TARE my HI 2110WI or HI 2151/30WC remotely if I have the BCD option board, or do I have to do it from the front panel keypad?

I am assuming that pins 28 and 29 are only for indication of the current output value.  

The BCD option for your HI 2110WI or HI 2151/30WC is output only.  There is no way to send a command using the BCD option. 

Without one of the bi-directional communication options, your HI 2110WI would need to zero and tare from the front keypad, however the HI 2151/30WC has the Remote Function connector which would allow you to zero (special option) and tare from the front keypad or the Remote Function input.

Pins 28 & 29 are an indication of the weight selection being outputted over the BCD output.  There is not a way to select the mode remotely.  This would need to be changed from the front keypad.
