New HIDS Drum Scales!
Click Here to Learn More! There is a lock dip switch on the back of the HI 2110WI, the HI 2151/30WC and the older HI 2151/20WC labeled S3 config. With switch number 7 in the ON position, the LB/KG button is locked. Also the ZERO, MODE, TARE and PRINT buttons are also locked.
If you still require the ZERO button to be active, there are software specials that allows the HI 2151/30WC to be locked out with the ZERO button still active. The option to allow the ZERO button to remain active is available for an additional cost. This option is ordered by adding the number -068 to the end of the controller part number. If you wish to order this option for an existing HI 2151/30WC the part number is as follows. HI 2151/30xx-068. You would receive a new secure memory module with the option code installed. You would then treat the HI 2151/30WC as a new installation. The configuration and calibration data was stored in the old /30 SMM. There is not any way to copy that information and restore to the new SMM.
There is a remote function terminal strip that can perform the TARE, Print, and MODE function via a user installed remote push button. These functions will be active and not locked with switch number S3-7 in the ON position.
Insure any wired connection to the remote function is less than 60", twisted pair shielded cable. This is a TTL level signal and sensitive to stray power.
