Can I lockout option KEY codes on my HI 3000 or HI 4000 units?

Can the KEY codes to enable an option on my HI 3000 or HI 4000 series controller be locked after unit is configured to prevent unauthorized changes that may disable the option?

No, the KEY codes on the HI 3000 series (which include the HI 3010, HI 3030, HI 3300 and HI 3600) and HI 4000 series (which include the HI 4050 and HI 4060) cannot be locked out. However, the user would need to specifically enter a value of 1 into the "KEY" field and save to disable the option.  If any other value is entered in, it will not disable the option.

You can also assign a security level to limit the keypad capabilities on your HI3000 or HI 400 series unit to prevent unauthorized users from being able to get into the menu.
