Click Here to Learn More! The only information NOT saved in the Secure Memory Modules (SMM) is the Tare Value. Calibration and all configuration information is stored in the SMM of the HI 2151/20WC s/n 8000 and higher and all HI 2151/30WC and HI 2110WI instruments.
Data cannot be directly copied from one SMM to another SMM. Additionally, the data within the SMM is not compatible between different model units, even if the SMM is the same type.
You can swap SMM's from like controllers however, DO NOT "HOT SWAP" SMM's or your option data will be erased.
If you want to copy configuration information between different types of weight controllers, you must manually record the information and manually enter the data into the next controller.
COCKPIT was designed to facilitate the transfer of information between the HI 2151/20WC and HI 2151/30WC type Secure Memory Modules (SMM). It was used to archive data, allow setup of instruments at your desk and easily duplicate complicated set ups. It did not save the calibration data. Now that the HI 2151/20WC is obsolete, COCKPIT is no longer available. In addition, COCKPIT software was not supported under the Windows XP or 2000 operating system. The software had only been tested on Windows NT, 95 and 98.
