How do I wire my non-Hardy load cells to my Hardy unit? I am using non-Hardy Load Cells with a junction box made by the same company that made my load cells. They have an output cable of 7 wires at 24 VDC. How do I connect the cable to the Hardy unit? Can I use C2®?
I am replacing a load cell on an existing scale and unable to read the label. Is there another way to figure out what the capacity of the load cell is?
I need to use the weight in my tank as a reference point and do a C2® calibration. How do I know that value is accurate if I suspect that my system is out of calibration in the first place?
What should I do if my empty weight does not return to zero? I think one of my load cells may be damaged. How should I troubleshoot to determine if this is a load cell or a mechanical problem?
I am trying to install a Hardy Instrument and there are 9 wires:
2 for signal, 2 for excitation, 2 for C2®, 2 for sense and a shield wire.
What are the 2 sense wires for?
Are Hardy's Advantage load cells compensated for static effects or thermal effects? How is this compensation accomplished? Is each sensor tested under different thermal conditions or are representative units from a lot used to predict what compensation is appropriate for that lot?
