Cliquez ici pour en savoir plus !Hardy C2® Load Sensors have a standard cable length that is listed on the individual product webpages. The cable should not be cut or the C2® accuracy will be compromised. The C2® Load Sensor should be terminated in a summing junction box and any extra Load Sensor cable length should be coiled up (not cut).
The length of cable from the summing box to the controller can be up to 1,000 feet (see below).
For non-C2® load cells, the maximum cable length you can use is dependent upon your controller model and cable type. Hardy makes no claims for cable manufacture's products other than the Hardy C2® Certified cable. Hardy Process Solutions C2® Certified Load Sensor cable is specifically designed for low voltages found in weighing systems as well as the Load Sensor performance characteristics. The C2® eight conductor certified cable carries low voltage load cell signals up to one thousand feet, to and from the weight controller, and the junction box. Hardy's C2® cable has a braided shield for EMI and RFI protection; while each conductor is 22 AWG stranded copper wire for flexibility.
Depending on controller (see table below), the maximum cable length between the summing box and controller, using C2® second generation Load Points and C2® certified cable can be up to 1,000 feet, with or without using Intrinsic Barriers and Hardy's "-JB" version (the "non-IT summing junction boxes"). The sense lines must be installed and sense jumpers removed.
Hardy's INTEGRATED TECHNICIAN® summing cards are designed to work with Intrinsic Barriers.
There is a cable limitation of 250 feet if you are using the INTEGRATED TECHNICIAN® summing junction boxes.

For the HI2201LT and HI 2204LT Weight Transmitters, load cells are connect directly to the transmitter and integral summing card. There is NO INTEGRATED TECHNICIAN® capability with these devices.
Hardy's C2® certified cable is available in one (1) foot increments, is usually in stock, and is a specially designed low loss cable. There are no recommended alternative cable manufacturers.
