We are doing a Loss in weight system with a Hardy Controller and 4 Hardy load cells. My question is, when we first turn on the system and have our equipment on the load cells but empty of material and ready to be filled, would I enter a reference weight of 0.00 at this time for the C2® calibration or do I need to know the weight of our equipment?
I have a spare Hardy Load Sensor and do not know which Advantage Series Load Point it is from. Can you provide a list of Advantage Series Load Point designations and the associated Load Sensor model types?
I am setting up a 3-leg weigh system for a conical bottom cylindrical tank. I have reviewed the load cell placement documentation, and it presents good information for placement of load cells around the circumference of the tank.
In general, is it better to place the load cells below the tank (CG of tank above load cells) or to have the tank suspended with the CG of the tank below the load cells?
I would like to know the pros and cons of using a load cell with around a 350 ohm load cell input resistance OR a load cell with around a 1100 ohm input resistance?
