Why does my HI 1746WS software lock when I change slot number?

When I start the HI WS100 software I can read the first unit's weight and information. When I select a second unit, save, and try to access parameters or read weight the HI WS100 software locks. What should I do?

When selecting a second slot location you must save and then exit the software. You must then reload and re-enter the software so the appropriate slot parameters are downloaded to the HI WS100 software. You can now read weight and operate the configuration software.

If you try and change the slot address and not exit, the correct information is not downloaded and a fault occurs.
