Cliquez ici pour en savoir plus !If a C2 calibration and the Search for C2 is failing, the possible causes would be:
1. You do not have C2 load cells. There should be a violet and gray wire extending out of the load sensor cable. Those wires must be terminated to the module.
2. You have the C2 wires installed incorrectly or not at all.
3. You could be experiencing noise on the C2 cable interfering with the data read. Installing a 2200 pf capacitor across the C2+ to C2- terminals in the summing junction card could help.
4. You are using load cell cable other than the C2 certified cable supplied by Hardy. This can allow noise on the line defeating any C2 chip read attempts.
5. In the HI 1746WS there isn't a C2 search command, however, if you are using the WS 100 configuration software, there is a C2 tab that will list all the C2 load cells. If this is failing, then you may not have proper communications between the software and the SLC.
6. If the C2 connections were made after the HI 1746 modules was already powered up, it would not read the C2 data. C2 data is only read on power up.
When you are performing a C2 calibration what is the returned status word? This return status should help give an indication of the reason for the failure. There are three types of failures:
A/D error - input from the load cells is out of range.
Motion - if the weight is indicating in motion, cannot calibrate.
C2failednodevs - Cannot find or read any C2 devices.
C2failedcapeq - Capacities for the C2 devices found do not match.
