What is an HI 1771-AD?

The HI 1771-AD is weigh scale application data software for the HI 1771WS weigh scale module used in an Allen-Bradley Series 5 PLC. The HI 1771-AD software contains a Dynamic Linked Library (.dll) file which links the HI 1771WS with Rockwell Software's RS Logix 5.0 Version 4.0 or higher, and provides a graphic interface for on line configuration of the weigh module. The latest version is downloadable from the Hardy Process Solutions web site support section.

 Select the 'Docs and Programs' tab and select Upgrade to DLL configuration software.

You will know if you have the latest version if the header of the weigh scale software displays Hardy Instruments instead of a rockwell header.
