What communication interfaces come standard in the 3000 Series controllers?

The Series 3000 controllers include the HI 3010, and the HI 3030.
They come standard with:

1. Ethernet 10/100 base T; with embedded web server (also known as TCP/IP)

2. DeviceNet: operates as a master scanner. (Standard on the HI 3010 and optional on all the others)

3. Infrared (IR); wireless connection to Palm OS PDAs is no longer active.

4. Serial RS232; simplex to a printer.

5. The units also have peer to peer communications available over the TCP/IP connection.

Optional communications include: Ethernet EIP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus, and Modbus TCP/IP. 

The RIO communications is no longer available in the HI 3030 system.  February 2010 Hardy posted the last sale of a HI 3030 RIO option card.
