How is a HLPB load sensor and mount assembled?

Last updated 10-20-2014 10:30

Question

Can you help me understand how the Advantage HI HLPB series (with HI BBH06 load sensor and mounting hardware) is assembled?

Answer

The HI BBH06 load sensor is part of our HLPS Advantage Series sliding load point systems and comes in the following standard capacities:

44 lb
110 lb
225 lb
450 lb

In the HI LPB series, a single load sensor is designated as a HI BBH06 -XXX (with the XXX as capacity). A load point is comprised of a load sensor and mounting hardware. You can purchase a three legged system using this load sensor, which is designated as a HI 3BXXX-43 (with XXX as the total capacity of all 3 load sensors). You can also purchase a four legged system using this load sensor, which is designated as a HI 4BXXX-43 (with XXX as the total capacity of all 4 load sensors). The -43 designation is for Stainless Steel hardware and -45 would be for Galvanized hardware.

In the animations it does not show the ground strap installation or a reminder to remove the shipping brackets.  Also does not show a small brass rocker button that sits in the bottom of the rocker pin cup.  This small rocker button is included in the repair kit listed below.

HILPB 44-450 FIXED LOAD PIN 5504-0023

Please view the attached pdf animation to better understand how the HI BBH06 load sensor, including the load point mount hardware, is assembled. You must have Adobe Reader 8.1.1 or higher to view the animation. You can download the latest version of Adobe Reader at www.adobe.com.

Consult the manual or additional Webtech answers for proper orientation of the three different model load point assemblies.
