How are the proof switches used on a HI 3010?

Proof switches are not used to confirm weight delivery. Proof switches are used to confirm that a valve has activated or deactivated. Proof switches are available and used for the fast and slow feed and the discharge gates. Proof switches are physically attached to a valve or gate, so when the valve changes state, the switch will also change state.

There are timers associated with each proof switch. This is for different switches that open and close at different rates. Set these event timers for a period of time beyond what you would expect to be normal. You may need to adjust these setting to stop intermittent nuisance alarms.
