Where do we get the EDS or GSD file for our Hardy Instrument?

The EDS and GSD files for your Hardy instruments are located on our web site and are available for downloading. Go to hardysolutions.com. On the Products tab, select the product you are looking for.  Once on the units' product page, select the Doc & Programs tab.  Any EDS or GSD files should be found on this page.  If you cannot find the file you are looking for, please send us an email at hardysupport@hardysolutions.com

For the HI 200DNWM you will need to look at the overlay label to determine if it is series A or B. If it does not say either, then it is Series A.

The EDS file for the HI 4050 using Devicenet, ControlNet, and EIP is now available on our website. We do not have an EDS file for the HI 3000 series using EtherNet IP.

There are two HI 2151/30WC GSD files attached to this TechNote for your convenience. The file identified as Hr1_2151.gsd is functional with newer PLC's (most users use this file). If you have an older PLC use the Hrdy2151.gsd file.

GSD files are only used with Profibus communications. If you require additional information please review the manual for your specific instrument. You can download manuals from our web site at hardysolutions.com.
