Firmware version 2.3 added the Rate of Change feature to the HI 1769WS and 1769-2WS modules. To add the RATE of Change we needed to relocate a couple of other data points in the input table.
Attached is an addendum with the changes to the manual. The HI 1769WS modules can be upgraded with the new firmware, however, the modules would need to be returned to the factory for this upgrade. It cannot be done in the field.
These changes in firmware revision 2.3 are:
INPUT TABLE:
Channel 0:
Word 3 is now the Firmware Rev (was word 13)
Word 9 is now the Calibration type (was word 12)
Words 12 & 13 are now the Rate of Change in units/min (new addition)
Channel 1 (if dual channel unit)
Word 19 is now the Firmware Rev (was word 29)
Word 25 is now the Calibration type (was word 28)
Words 28 & 29 are now the Rate of Change in units/min (new addition)
WRITEPARAM0:
Word 7 is now Rate of Change time base for channel 0, 1-1800 seconds (was unused)
Word 23 is now Rate of Change time base for channel 1, 1-1800 seconds (if dual channel unit) (was unused).
READPARAM0:
Word 7 is now Rate of Change time base (was unused)
Word 23 is now Rate of Change time base (if dual channel unit) (was unused).
CONFIGURATION TABLE:
Word 16 is now Rate of Change time base CH0 (was unused)
Word 40 is now Rate of Change time base CH1 (was unused)
