Do I need to use Surge Suppressors with my MicroLogix 1500 system?

The use of surge suppressors can extend the life expectancy of relay contacts.  It can also reduce the effects of voltage transients and electrical noise from radiating into adjacent systems.

Find attached copies of pages indicating the use of surge suppressors and recomended values to use with the MicroLogix 1500 system, used with the HI 1769 WS and HI 1769-2 WS.
