Do I need an EDS file for my HI 1769WS?

Do I need an EDS file for my 1769WS? I checked on your sample programs webpage and could not find one. All I found for the HI 1769WS was the ladder logic samples.

Answer

The HI 1769WS module is configured as a generic instrument, there is no EDS file needed. Please review chapter 4 of the manual for setup information.

However, we do have an EDS file that will help identify the module once it is installed. Please find the EDS file attached.
