Can my HI 4000 series units be powered via DeviceNet like the HI 3000 series units, or do they require their own 24vdc power supply?

Answer

The HI 4000 series units, which include the HI 4050 and HI 4060, cannot be powered by the DeviceNet network 24vdc. The DeviceNet 24vdc supply is isolated in the unit. The HI 4000 series units requires their own 24vdc power supply to be powered by DC.
