Can I hot swap my SMM or SD card?

Do not hot swap the Secure Memory Module (SMM) in your HI 2151/30WC or HI 2110WI or your TAG2 option enable code will be erased.

Do not hot swap the SMM in your HI 3010, or HI 3030 as your data may be erased or you can induce corruption in your SMM.

You can hot swap the SD card in your HI 4050 or HI 4060.

The following process will clear the HI 4000 SD card and controller to factory default.  With power off, remove the SD card.  Apply power and press the exit soft key after the SD card failure error, clears error.  Push the SD card in until it clicks and enter the configuration menu.  Make any selection and save, the SD card will be over written and with default information.
