Cliquez ici pour en savoir plus !The HI 4050 has Ethernet IP, Modbus over Ethernet, RIO, Profibus and DeviceNet options available for bi-directional communications. It also has Analog Output (both voltage and current) available for transmitting an analog signal to a PC. You can connect a PC or PLC to your HI 4050 through one of these connections.
The HI 4050 and HI3000 series controller have a serial output port to go to a printer or external scoreboard display. They do not have a bi-directional serial port.
Cable connections for the 3000 series using hyper terminal to a PC
HI3030PM-DC-4S using 11.8vdc power into the DeviceNet port V+ and V-.
Serial connections are:
Printer serial port connector to DB9 connector
Pin 1 ISO GND to the DB9 -5 (didn't work connected to GND)
Pin 3 RXD to the DB9 -3
Pin 4 TXD to the DB9 -2

You may also communicate to the HI 4050 through the TCP/IP connection as explained in
