Can I add the ControlNet option to my HI 3000 series unit?

Yes, the ControlNet option board can be added to a HI 3010, or HI 3030.  Please be sure to turn off power prior to installation of the option board and use proper ESD procedures for handling sensitive electronics.

Once the option board is installed, reassemble your unit, power it back up and it will automatically recognize your new option at boot up (plug and play) and the option will become operational.  There are instructions in the HI 3000 manual to assist in the installation.
